Shepherd groups are a ministry of hospitality and caring. Our purpose is to reach out to others with a warm greeting, a kind word, or a caring act. We also become better acquainted with fellow members through social activities.
Shepherd groups are a way of expressing our relationship to one another. We are organized into groups of about 13 to 20 households. Our first goal is to provide care and nurture to one another. Some of the activities we perform for one another are; transportation assistance, hospital visits, meals in time of need, and serving at various functions. We serve each other and develop friendships as we serve.
